Celebrate your special event with us here at The Mediterranean Restaurant, and we will ensure you enjoy a personalised experience.

We can cater for celebrations of any size, from two people up to 65 guests.

We provide bespoke menus to suit your individual tastes for birthdays, Christmas parties, wedding anniversaries, hen parties or any other occasions.

There is also a special set menu available at The Mediterranean Restaurant as well as a lighter menu suitable for pre-theatre meals and lunches.

Read through some of our special menus, but beware, they may make your mouth water.

Starters

CHICKEN LIVERS
Chicken Livers, pan fried with garlic butter, sliced onion and parsley and white wine. Flamed
in brandy and served with a crisp salad garnish.

TZATZIIKI v
Greek Yoghurt with diced and shredded cucumber, fresh mint and garlic and served with a
crisp salad garnish and hot pita bread.

SARDINAS g/f
Whole sardines, Char Grilled, with head and tail on. Served with a crisp salad garnish and
a wedge of lemon.

HOMOUS v/gf
Pureed chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. Served with crisp salad and
hot pita bread.

FUNGHI FRITTI v
Full Cap Mushrooms coated with herbs and breadcrumbs, then deep-fried and served with a
crisp salad garnish and garlic mayonnaise.

Mains

KEFTEDES
Home Made Meat Balls, made from lean mince beef with herbs and a slight hint of spice. Oven baked with mixed vegetable to make a really nice and tasty casserole dish in our home-made tomato sauce. Served with rice.

SEA BASS – can be made g/f, just tell your waiter.
Seabass fillet, pan fried cooked with capers, smoked bacon and herbs in our home-made tomato sauce. Served with your choice of vegetables of the day (includes Potatoes) or chips.

KOKINISTO – can be made g/f, (no cream) just tell your waiter.
Breast of chicken marinated in white wine and herbs, cooked with fresh mixed peppers, onions and mushrooms, served in our home-made tomato sauce and finished in cream. Served with vegetables of the day (includes Potatoes) or chips.

KARNI YARIK v
Baked Aubergine filled with mixed vegetables and topped with feta cheese, lay on a bed of our home-made tomato sauce and served with and rice

STEAK DIANE
Tender Sirloin Steak, served with our home-made Diane Sauce – mushroom, onions, French mustard and cream, flamed in brandy. Served with vegetable of the day (includes Potatoes) or chips.

Starters

HOMOUS v. g/f
Pureed chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. Served with crisp salad and hot pita bread

BOREK v
Filo pastry, rolled up with a filled of feta cheese, parsley and herbs, then deep fried and served with salad garnish

TZATZIKI v
Greek Yoghurt with diced and shredded cucumber, fresh mint and garlic, with a crisp salad garnish and hot pita bread

FUNGHI FRITTI v
Does include egg, so if allergic, please don’t have this dish. Full Cup Mushrooms coated with herbs and breadcrumbs then deep fried, and served with a crisp salad garnish and garlic mayonnaise.

Main Courses

FILLET GREY MULLET g/f but, please confirm the rice is g/f as this does change often. 
Grey Mullet, pan fried with herbs and garlic in our home-made tomato sauce. Served with your choice of vegetables of the day (includes Potatoes) or Chips

CHICKEN GUVEC
Marinated Chicken breast served with mixed vegetable. Cooked and served in a clay pot and topped with Mozzarella Cheese, served with rice .

LASAGNE
Layers of Lasagna pasta strips on a bed of our home-made savory minced beef filling and topped with a béchamel sauce and topped with parmesan cheese.

VEGETABLE CASSAROLE v – if you not want cheese, please tell your waiter. 
Mixed Vegetable cooked and served in a clay pot, baked in our home-made tomato sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and served with rice.
